History & Influences :

Sore Eyes originated in Memphis, Tennessee in 2006 per the meeting of Shi and Jeremiah who later recruited the talents of Chris and Landon. Once the line-up and the chemistry was complete it was time to hit the road. Their ubiquity on the national touring scene has been with the likes of Saving Abel, Egypt Central, Trust Company, Framing Hanley and most recently as direct support for Shinedown. With catchy and infectious lyrics and paramount beats, they have crafted an expansive rock sound that is dripping with ambition. With musical influences that include such bands as The Used, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Saosin, Incubus, Hopes Fall, Paramore and Alexisonfire the musical possibilities are endless.
